I just realized I'm *months* behind reading your blog, and popped over to see this!
It sucks, and being surrounded by students who live in close quarters and trade germs back and forth is an occupational hazard.
I think the trains and buses I take to and fro between teaching gigs are the real problem -- stifling, steaming, standing room only, like ladling my way between destinations in a foggy soup of distress and dis-ease. Come a real and for true pandemic and I fear I'm a frickin statistic.
