I don't read the news much nowadays. I'm immersed in my own writing project (currently 360,000 words narrative and javascript) that plus my day job (IT Sales Research during the apocalypse) keeps me busy.
The periscope does get raised on occasion and it's always a sobering sight. This crisis is bringing out the best and the worst in people.
They never make the news but I see lots of little acts of heroism and compassion that give me hope that we will collectively rise to the occassion.
