"A Dose of the New Medical Reality"

My latest Progressive Futures column is up over at BH. My own initial title for the piece was a more academic and anemic "Medicine from Recovery to Recreation." Regular readers will recognize sections of the piece from the blog, actually, since I poked and pasted bits of various responses to the Schiavo circus over the last week, like a baker nudging dough into a loaf, to get the column together.
