Barbara Lee Speaks For Me Daily

It's interesting how she has a double standard. She didn't say something like this during the Obama Administration. Under his Administration, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) law enforcement officials, including Border Patrol agents, utilized tear gas against migrants at or near the border at least 80 times between FY2012 and early FY2017. I know this is true as my father is a retired CBP officer that was working the boarder during those years.

This is from the CBP official report:
The CBP began using tear gas (2-chlorobenzylidene malononitrile – CS) in 2010, though the available usage data initiates in FY2012. CBP Use of Tear Gas Report - FY2012 through FY2018

The agency also reportedly began using pepper spray (Pava Capasaicin) at about the same time.

I wish our congresswoman would offer solutions and ideas for legal assimilation of immigrants rather than just throw vitriol.

I do not agree that Barbara Lee is not sincere in her condemnation of these atrocities, if that is what you are implying. Nor do I agree it is "just throw[ing] vitriol" to condemn them. I wish other congresspeople offered as many solutions to our shared problems as Barbara Lee does. Vote for your preferred alternatives or run on your preferred solutions, best of luck to you.
