Saturday morning, cool sunlight fanning out through tree branches onto the little patio, our plump scarf-light California Republic flag fluttering in a breeze too gentle to rustle the pages on the green mosaic tile table, lecture prep and still half of my grading pile to get through this afternoon... time, I suppose, to move from Sibelius symphonies to Sibelius symphonic poems...
