Americans Can No Longer Distinguish Optimism from Advertizing

Ever notice how often "positive people" who call you too negative are just trying to sell your something?

For every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction. In this case, I think positive thinking is the reaction. Notice that the most enthusiastic consumers of positive thinking books, audio, seminars, etc. are people involved in sales. This, I think, is the most telling symptom that sales is a hell job. It takes hours and hours of positive thinking materials to bolster the psyche for yet another day in the trenches...

life's possibilities.

I try to be.

But you, Daria? I hate to see a young lady give up on
herself at such an early age.

I don't consider rejecting the Dr. Frankenstein approach
"giving up".

It puts a frown on my face. And I don't like havin'
