Boehner Admits Defeat in Desperate Bid for Victory
Republican House Speaker John Boehner is quoted at PolitcalWire declaring from here on out he will not engage in "one-on-one negotiations with President Obama." In other words, he is promising that he will no longer actually engage in the substance of leadership in his Leadership over half of one branch of our government. Hilariously, this promised abdication of leadership was probably necessary for him to have a chance at keeping his position of Leadership over the terminally dysfunctional anti-governmental Republican Party.

Throwing his toys out of the pram.
I didn't expect the Republicans to crack up this quickly. This is very good news for the rest of the planet.
His aides are now saying that he is still in regular contact with the president. So after tossing his toys he's picked them up again while he was off camera.
He's not an idiot, he simply represent them.
