At Liberty

I will experience tonight's fireworks displays as low percussive shuddering along the walls of the bungalow sending our cat into a saucer eyed distress requiring hours of tender little attentions to sooth away. The last cobwebs of this weekend's illness seem to have been swept away by another long night's sleep. I'll be spending much of the day grading final papers and prepping lectures for a long teaching day tomorrow. Still deep in the belly of the beast.
