Robot Cultist Martine Rothblatt protests that the actual science of biology is “fiction” because it doesn’t accommodate fictional accounts of robotic and software “life.” A long undergraduate Wikipedia-like excursion into Spinoza fails to distract discerning readers (few of whom read futurologists, so no worries) from the palpable absurdity of Rothblatt’s proposal.
