It's certainly not lost on me how little a performative gesture such as this means in and of itself to the actual victims of Israeli gov't policy toward Palestine and Palestinians. Nonetheless, this might be my favorite thing Obama's done thus far.

The racist criminal Netanyahu deserves much worse than humiliation, but as it's something he's hardly accustomed to, I'll consider it a decent start.

Cheers to the Prez multitasking, and cheers to his using the wind that the (limited) health-care victory put in his sails to begin to tackle one of the worst and most stubborn problems on the planet. I might even hold my breath on some follow-through...
