Republican Party Chair Claims Government Jobs "Aren't Jobs" and that Private Sector Jobs "Never Go Away"

Michael Steele -- the Crook Republicans picked as their Chair over the documented Racists who were his major competition for the post -- the man in the usually obscure post who has become the Face of the Republican Party because there simply is nobody else left -- isn't making much sense these days as he tries to explain why Republicans are reverting to Hoover in the face of catastrophe yet again. Surveying the senseless scene of Republicanism in the age of Steele and La Palin and "Joe the Plumber" I feel much the same reaction as the one Bob Herbert attests in an editorial yesterday:
It’s been clear for years that the G.O.P. is a party without a heart. But its pointless obstructionism, its overall lack of any serious response to what is a clear national economic emergency, seems to indicate it’s also a party without a brain.
