MundiMuster! ASK THE WHITE HOUSE -- Badger the Drug Lobbyist

[via The Center for American Progress]Today at 3:30 pm, the White House's senior health policy advisor Doug Badger will answer questions submitted to the White House's web site (http://www.whitehouse.gov/ask/question.html) . According to the 11/19/02 edition of National Journal, Badger came to the White House after representing drug industry giant (and major Bush campaign benefactor (more here) Eli Lilly &; Co. as a lobbyist.

Some suggested questions for Mr. Badger:

As one of the architects of the new Medicare law, did your close personal connection to one of America's biggest drug companies help make the final bill a financial boon to drug companies that shafts seniors?

Why did the president not explain his proposed cuts to health care (more here)?
Why does the president promise seniors major savings from Medicare drug cards when he knows there is no guarantee of any savings (more here)?

Why is the president telling people his new health savings account proposal will save them money, when studies show these plans will drive up deductibles for average workers (more here) and could cause more than one million people to lose their existing health coverage (more here)?

Go to the White House's website and submit your questions now (http://www.whitehouse.gov/ask/question.html).
